Children and Youth Ministries

Children's Ministries:

Christ University (Sunday School) - Children of all ages have a wonderful opportunity to grow in their faith on Sunday mornings during our Christian Education hour.

All students meet Sundays at 9:00 a.m. in a warm and caring class-room environment to study God's Word and fellowship with other children their ages.

(During School Year) Kidz Zone  - Children in third grade and below have the opportunity to worship during the worship service hour (10:15) in a kid-friendly environment.  Children and Kidz Zone are dismissed following the children's sermon of our worship service and can be picked up in Rainbow Corner (located on the main floor in the back wing of the church).

Rainbow Station - Christian pre-school program and day care center for 18 months through 5 year olds.

Youth Ministries:

AFTERSHOCK Youth Group - Sunday evenings at First Presbyterian are exciting for our youth.  Our Youth Group (Grades 6-12) meets every Sunday evening from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. in the church social room or youth room in the basement for a weekly challenge.  Students are challenged and encouraged in their Christian faith walk while hanging out with friends, enjoying snacks, music and more. 

Scouts - Boy Scouts meets during the school year on Mondays at 6:30 pm.  Cub Scouts meets during the school year on Tuesdays at 6:30 pm.
