Christ University includes our Sunday School program for learners ages three through adult and occasional evening sessions for specified children's actvities, adult lectures, independent Bible studies, and/or seasonal studies (Lent, Advent, etc). Sunday morning classes meet at 9:00 a.m. and evening classes meet during week or on Sunday nights as scheduled. Childcare is provided in the nursery for infants and toddlers on Sunday mornings and may be available upon request for evening sessions.
Classes for younger children follow a standard Sunday School curriculum (presently, Lifeway Resources). Youth lessons are based on selected curricula and topical Bible studies.
Various short-term adult electives are offered throughout the year. Some explore topical issues with the aid of books/videos. Popular video-based offerings have included courses taught by N.T. Wright, Philip Yancey, and Rob Bell. Others classes focus on expanding our understanding of God's word through standard Bible study. Our small group settings provides a confidential atmosphere of love and acceptance regardless of a participant's age or walk of life. Our focus is on growing together in relationship with Christ and each other. Wherever you are at in your journey of faith, there's a place for you!

Youth Sunday Morning Learning
Youth studies for ages 7th through 12th, vary by term, sometimes being based on topical issues, Bible chapters, or program studies.
Children's Sunday Morning Learning
Our current curriculum for ages pre-school through 6th grade is Lifeway's B.T. K. (Bible Teaching for Kids). In it children learn about the Bible through age-appropriate readings, actitities, and take home sheets to reiforce each lesson. Our qualified staff sometimes adds special suplemental activites to enhance the weekly message. After Sunday School children may (your choice) remain with the teacher in the learning area. At the appropriate time the teacher will bring the kids into the sanctuary for the Young Disciples Message after which any other children may join the group and return to the Learning area until the service is concluded.
Adult Sunday Morning Electives
7 week session begins January 8, 2011
Start Becoming a Good Samaritan DVD series, featuring John Ortberg, Eugene Peterson, Desmond TuTu, Joni Erikison Tada, and many more prominent Christian thinkers. Be challenged to identify your neighbor(s) and consider practical ways for YOU to become a good neighbor to the world. Join us in the church library promptly at 9:00 on Sunday mornings for a 30 minute DVD session followed by 30 minutes of discussion time. To check out a sample of the series click here. The book is accompanying workbook is recommended but not required. It is OK to join the class any time for one or a few weeks or all 7 weeks. Visitors and newcomers are welcome and always warmly received.
Adult Evening Bible Study:
E100 Forum is back. Join Pastor Bill on Sunday evenings @ 6:00 P.M. for interactive talks on the previous week's E100 readings and the Sunday morning sermon.
